In accordance with SA Health Emergency Management (Residential Aged Care Facilities) Directions:
From 6 December 2021, no-one may enter a residential aged care facility unless they have received at least two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine approved by the TGA or all dosages of a recognised COVID-19 vaccine in accordance with dosage schedule recommended by ATAGI for that vaccine, unless they are a child under 12 years and 2 months of age or have a medical exemption certificate or letter from a legally qualified medical practitioner that meets the criteria listed in the Direction.
In addition, no-one may enter a residential aged care facility unless they have had a 2021 seasonal influenza vaccination, unless they have a medical contraindication to the vaccine and have a letter from their doctor to confirm, or are an infant aged 6 months or less.
Vaccinated visitors from interstate will need to abide by the “Arrivals – Associated Direction (COVID-19) Direction 2021” on the SA Health website.
Visitors are also required to meet specific criteria relevant to COVID-19 and will be asked to acknowledge/sign to attest compliance prior to entry into the Home.
